Speaking of the bus, where did this one end up? Seems like it turned off the highway.

You know that feeling some people have about government oversight -- how they expect the government will protect them?

Well that protection clearly does not exist. Or someone is looking the other way.

The trouble with making something as serious as investing as easy as clicking a "like" button is that it's, well, too easy. Easy isn't always smart.

AskAsa—I agree it’s a recipe for financial turmoil for individuals and companies immediate data does not mean its information. We will breed data reactors rather than information synthesizers.

I'm concerned people will read the prospectus as carefully as they read terms of use.

Credit Card Buying

Also regarding buying with credit card cards I think this is a huge issue—what happens if there is a default who owns the securities and how does value reflect over time of ownership determination. This could cause share of many entities to be locked up in legal issue and impact the true price of a stock. This should definitely not be approved. It will make market gambling all too easy for the undisciplined.

Investing via social Media
impactnow   6/28/2011 5:50:58 PM
NO RATINGS

I also see investing via social media as a big problem—investors today don’t take enough time to research their investments and devise a plan. Opening up a social media type arena with investment options will bring a whole new meaning to emotional investing, it’s too easy for such a  system to be manipulated and almost impossible to regulate. It’s a market meltdown in the making.
