Those first cable networks adhered to a specialty and delivered it, CNN's global converage was often breathtaking.

Now, much like the way MTV no longer plays music videos, CNN no longer delivers the coverage that made it such a force in the industry.

I know Marvin's suggestion is satirical - but Ted Turner is a perpetual soundbite machine and might work in a given time slot.

Whether yoiu agree with these thoughts or have some of your own, it seems to be ovious that CNN needs to do something. their numbers keep going down and every change they have tried only leads to worse numbers. Maybe bring Ted back could reverse the problems.
