A buy?

So Rob, do you see this stock as a buy at less than, say, $25? The growth outlook, as you note, still looks good.

Rob, any predictions on what may happen in September when the employee lock-up period ends?

If the overall market doesn't cooperate, Guidewire shares will most likely test the recent lows. Over the past few months, buyers have emerged in the $22 to $23 range. The next significant catalyst will come when Guidewire reports fiscal Q4 results (most likely in early Sept.) because management said it would provide more detailed metrics on customer totals and up-sell opportunities.

I could see myself buying this below $25, but not sure how much higher I would go on it right now.

With the current downdraft in the market, it may be time to look for a buy.

It might very well be, I have seen more than a few stocks I thought were strong take some significant dips the past month or so.

Valuation looks good

I think the current valuations look good. A few quarters of steady results should lead to sustaining higher multiples. I think the effect of the lock-up will be very telling.

Acquisition Candidate

I agree that Guidewire has "acquisition candidate" written all over it, not only for its current niche in the P & C insurance business, but for the transferability of its soup-to-nuts cloud software solutions to other niches.

Great find, @Robert!

I'd agree this is great find @Robert. The company looks like have a great potential in an growing sector.

It's a little bit challenge to proeply value this stoch though.
