I agree completely. Things just could not go on as they were. Maybe rates will rise to reflect the trus level of risk and investors will understand that all bonds have some risk. I sure hope there will be no QE3.

Once considered a tried and true staple for many investors, treasury bonds just aren't what they used to be.  Now that the rates are going up, no one seems to be interested in these entities...how can this happen?  And will treasury bonds ever be the same again?
