we are gonna stay tuned alright...Bernanke, this guy!
So gold is up another $50 since I wrote this... which was just about 4 hours ago.
Scott, do you think this will be the start of golds final run to the top?

I think Apple will still do OK. However, Jobs has been the front person here for some time. We need someone from Apple to fill the innovation leadership role publicly and give the market a look at a longer term strategy for Apple.
The Fed can't print more money, can they? Can't lower interest rates much, if any. And the Federal government is near the end of it's effort to spend-spend-spend the economy to health. (Didn't work anyway.)
Small wonder Bernanke wants to point the finger at congress and their little debate about debt limits.
Yawn the Fed has no solution

Do we think the fed will come up with anything else in the additional two days or will it just cost taxpayers a bundle for them to sit in a room and decide to tell us they are doing nothing? I need more than coffee before any more of Uncle Ben’s speeches!

I agree, see what happened to Microsoft after Bill Gates left. Apple needs another real leader. Would Tim Cook be as good as that? We will wait and see. No question, Apple will still be a good company for many years. But would it be the same company that have triggered so much exciting events(like long waiting line out side store before iPhone/iPad released)?

Well who has got a new bag of tricks now to brighten the economic outlook? Any possible solutions? Do you think the congress will do something?

l do not think Bernanke has any more ideas. If he does have other “tools” to boost growth then he should stop hinting at them and start explaining them.

As long as Apple continues to innovate and offer products that create the kind of interest and demand that it has historically, then I am not convinced that it is all about having Jobs or Cook as the CEO. At the end of the day, it is about the product.
