I applaud your willingness to look for signs of life in a stagnant economy. While many of the people I know are more suited to art than science, it's nice to see there are some companies with growth on the agenda, even these days

The overall outlook for college grads may be brighter than it is for those without degrees. However, the outlook for recent grads, especially young adults, remains exceedingly high. I'm sure some of that is contributing to the youth support for the Occupy Wall Street movement.

The positions demonstrate the importance of science and math. It seems that those who followed the admonitions to study those number related professions are the ones with the fewest employment problems.
