Dennis Rodman is a former pro basketball player who signed copies of his autobiography in New York in 1996 wearing a wedding dress. Don't you think that means he'll always have celebrity status? Or is that crazy status?

She is probably getting top dollar and the must be a solid ROI for the sponsor - but I just can't see her translating anywhere outside of New Jersey.

Predictable, anything bright and shiny -- or weird -- catches my attention. But that doesn't mean it's going to make anyone any money. And as for Snookie -- I can't figure what demographic she is in!

I'm not a big fan of celebrity marketing at trade shows.  But here it might make sense as a way to cut through the clutter.  Worked to catch Noreens attention.

Having said that, Snooki?  They must be looking for a demographic that I'm not in.
