Ron Paul for Sec of Defense or Treasury. It's a damn interesting suggestion Marvin.
How about Ron Paul for Sec of State?
If you listen closely his foreign policy views are indistinguishable from Noam Chomsky.
"Sometimes I feel like the Republican candidates are on Obama's payroll."
Ha! Good one.

Sometimes I feel like the Republican candidates are on Obama's payroll.
Lately all I've been reading is how Obama is making hay while the sun shines, filling those campaign coffers and burnishing his organization while the Republicans continue in disarray.
Obama campaign manager, David Plouffe is just quietly going about his work while Romney, Santorum and Co. try to outshout each other.

At this rate, it'll be bloviator-in-Chief, Karl Rove who should fear for HIS Fox job!

Scott,
We have enough War-Mongers in DC right now itself and problem is a good number of them are either in positions of massive influence and power(like McCain and the Jewish Lobby on Wall Street) or those jostling for influence(Santorum & Romney).
Iran does'nt have enough even 10% the War Machine that America has today. If America attacks Iran today,it can easily squash their entire militiary like a Fly and the Iranians know this too. This is why apart from bombastic rheoteric from the Iranians have you seen any concrete attacks on the US Militiary Infrastructure in the Middle East yet? What about the much ballyhooed threat to shut down the Straits of Hormuz??? Has it happened yet??
The only place where Iran has dared to challenge America is in deciding to dump the US Dollar for Gold, the Yen,The Yuan and The Rupee.

Even here,we have to blame the current Administration in America more-How would we Americans react if we could'nt trade with the Rest of the world??? Obviously this would be an act of war and this is why the Iranian establishment is complaining so loudly. The parallels with World War II and the US Fuel Blockade of the Japanese(which directly forced them to attack the US base at Pearl Harbor & brought America into World War II) are enormous today and can't be over-looked.
A US attack on Iran today could very well bring Russia and China into the battlefield(against America) .
We need peace and not War with Iran;and the sooner people realise and accept this the better for everyone concerned.
Regards
Ashish.
LOL. There must be some greater meanig here -- two pizza guys! -- but I don't have a clue what it is.

Thanks Ashish. Yes I realize it is an oppressive regime and not the true will of the people. We can only hope things can get better for the people since that maniac is set on destroying things.

Scott,
Iran is actually a very liberal country(compared to the rest of the region where it sits) and is actually very friendly with foriegners who visit the country.
It has one of the highest proportion of Young people(below 30) in the world. And all those Young people just want their freedom and Jobs.
I have written about it here as well
http://www.investoruprising.com/messages.asp?piddl_msgthreadid=245859&piddl_msgid=565054#msg_565054
Notice, this you will never see FOX News carrying any articles on the fact that Iranians are celebrating Valentines Day big time.
Why is that?
Precisely why I said we need more Independent Journalism;not the brand of naked warmongering which FOX News specializes in.
Look at some of the videos in the links I have attached-Do the Women look like they are oppresed? Do they look unhappy??
Does Iran look like a country which is interested in War with us Americans???
Make Peace Not War.
Ashish.
A world run by pizza magnates? Say it isn't so.
Maybe we should call them Pizza-ticions.
