Cain might be entertaining, if only because you never know what's going to come out of his mouth,
@Tenacious, I think that might be exactly what would make him a good fit for Fox News, you never know what he is going to say, but youll be damned if your going to miss it.

LOL. The train wreck principle.
Pretty much, but it will keep driving the ratings for Fox News up through the roof and im sure they will get a good deal more for advertising.
Ok TelecomFreq...let's figure out if any advertisers might profit from this ad spend, and take a look at the company fundamentals. You don't have to like Fox to like a potential investment opportunity. ( Although with all the stuff going on with NewsCorp, I'm reluctant to go near that company.)
Noreen, I think you are right on, I am not a fan of Fox News; But, if I had a product I wanted to advertise in that demo I dont think there is a better place to put up an ad. I am not sure if Herman would bring new viewers to the channel or not, but I def think he would be a strong draw for their current viewership.
I am sure that pretty much any pizza chain that has a right leaning will be inclined to advertise on the Cain show. Though he was CEO of Godfathers Pizza, when I think of right leaning pizza companines Dominos comes to mind.
Don't forget Tom Monaghan sold his controlling interest in Dominos -- and it was acquired by Bain Capital. Geez! What is this? Year of the presidential pizza guys?
@Tenacious, I did not know that.... perhaps we can spin some type of pizza conspiracy theory out of this?

I'm alway up for a good conspiracy. And a pizza conspiracy sounds well delicious
That it does, time to decode the toppings.
A world run by pizza magnates? Say it isn't so.
Maybe we should call them Pizza-ticions.
LOL. There must be some greater meanig here -- two pizza guys! -- but I don't have a clue what it is.
Intriguing handicapping of everyone's chances, @Marvin! Michele is certainly the most photogenic, but can't see why they need her if they have Sarah.
Herman Cain gives me the creeps. Who, exactly, is supposed to be his demographic?
Who is Cain's demographic? Best I can figure: lovers of pedestrian pizza; jingle and/or slogan writers; and fans of the Koch brothers.
People are tuning out of MSM bigtime.

Marvin,
Fascinating thoughts on what happens next to Fox.
But the more important thing is the lack of critical insight and thought-process in most Mainstream Media Shows today means that the really smart people are tuning out of the whole circus known as MSM.
As for the really good and independent shows??? They get axed and have to go online on the Internet.
Like FreedomWatch.

I am told it is almost like queen for a day. Each Republican cnadidate will get to be frontrunner for a day at a time. It will e like musical chairs- the one who is queen at the start of the convention will get to be the candidate.
Marvin, "shooting itself in the brain?" What brain?
Marvin, I feel like you're going to be like an NFL beat reporter after the superbowl once the election is finished. Very interested in seeing what you ridiciule when this is all said and done.
Marvin never seems to have trouble finding someone to torture.

Guys,
We need more indepedent,fact-based Journalism with rational thinkers in charge.
Not the Warmongers who throng Fox News today.
Like this blog below.

If you read the blog you seriously question, who exactly was behind the bombings of Israeli Diplomats in Asia.More importantly it makes you think and question the conclusions that MSM tries to draw up for us all the time.
Food for thought,Huh people??? Food for thought.

If the U.S. invades every country where a terrorist lives or threatens us from, I could see us quickly trying to run the entire world, running out of money, and collapsing like the Roman Empire
There is a limit to what you can do. The answer is intelligence programs, economic tools, and special ops, not mass invasions and bombings.
As for Iran, I don't know what the endgame is, but it certainly makes me nervous.

Scott,
Iran is actually a very liberal country(compared to the rest of the region where it sits) and is actually very friendly with foriegners who visit the country.
It has one of the highest proportion of Young people(below 30) in the world. And all those Young people just want their freedom and Jobs.
I have written about it here as well
http://www.investoruprising.com/messages.asp?piddl_msgthreadid=245859&piddl_msgid=565054#msg_565054
Notice, this you will never see FOX News carrying any articles on the fact that Iranians are celebrating Valentines Day big time.
Why is that?
Precisely why I said we need more Independent Journalism;not the brand of naked warmongering which FOX News specializes in.
Look at some of the videos in the links I have attached-Do the Women look like they are oppresed? Do they look unhappy??
Does Iran look like a country which is interested in War with us Americans???
Make Peace Not War.

Thanks Ashish. Yes I realize it is an oppressive regime and not the true will of the people. We can only hope things can get better for the people since that maniac is set on destroying things.

Scott,
We have enough War-Mongers in DC right now itself and problem is a good number of them are either in positions of massive influence and power(like McCain and the Jewish Lobby on Wall Street) or those jostling for influence(Santorum & Romney).
Iran does'nt have enough even 10% the War Machine that America has today. If America attacks Iran today,it can easily squash their entire militiary like a Fly and the Iranians know this too. This is why apart from bombastic rheoteric from the Iranians have you seen any concrete attacks on the US Militiary Infrastructure in the Middle East yet? What about the much ballyhooed threat to shut down the Straits of Hormuz??? Has it happened yet??
The only place where Iran has dared to challenge America is in deciding to dump the US Dollar for Gold, the Yen,The Yuan and The Rupee.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umSZOKNHY-M&feature=player_embedded
Even here,we have to blame the current Administration in America more-How would we Americans react if we could'nt trade with the Rest of the world??? Obviously this would be an act of war and this is why the Iranian establishment is complaining so loudly. The parallels with World War II and the US Fuel Blockade of the Japanese(which directly forced them to attack the US base at Pearl Harbor & brought America into World War II) are enormous today and can't be over-looked.
A US attack on Iran today could very well bring Russia and China into the battlefield(against America) .
We need peace and not War with Iran;and the sooner people realise and accept this the better for everyone concerned.
Regards
Ashish.
Lately all I've been reading is how Obama is making hay while the sun shines, filling those campaign coffers and burnishing his organization while the Republicans continue in disarray.
Obama campaign manager, David Plouffe is just quietly going about his work while Romney, Santorum and Co. try to outshout each other.
http://htpolitics.com/2012/02/20/knife-salesman-brings-hard-edge-to-obama-inner-circle/
At this rate, it'll be bloviator-in-Chief, Karl Rove who should fear for HIS Fox job!

Ron Paul for Sec of Defense or Treasury. It's a damn interesting suggestion Marvin.
How about Ron Paul for Sec of State?
If you listen closely his foreign policy views are indistinguishable from Noam Chomsky.
