So whos Doing the Buying to drive the rally???
back2basicz   2/16/2012 9:52:46 AM
NO RATINGS
Guys,

I just happened to go through some interesting charts;Which clearly show American Citizens are dumping Foriegn Stocks and Bonds in huge quantities& reciprocally Foriegn Investors are dumping US Corporate Bonds as well as Treasuries.

So who/what is driving the current rally???

Take the case of the BRICS which are all up huge this year(In some cases close to 20%!!!).

Please don't tell me its Domestic Investors in these countries. They don't have either the Financial firepower or the inclination to invest in their stocks especially after the hammering they suffered in 2011.

So who/what is driving this massive Asset rally across the Globe?

Too many Questions and Too Few answers.

Check out the charts below.

Ashish.

P.S Oh yeah,Don't get me started on the US Treasuries bit-China and Russia(at one time both these nations were in the Top 5 of Foriegn Treasury holders) are dumping in record quantities. So who's Buying??? Just the Fed? I shudder to think what that does to the US Dollar if we continue on the present trend.
