I would not touch this stock unless it started earning real money -- and by that I mean 2-3 quarters of profiability without accounting gimmicks.
@Scott, I think this is a very good strategy. Its always better to wait before investing rather than do bottom fishing. Better to get less returns than loose the investment. Do you think only 2-3 quarters is sufficient to define the fortunes of the company ?

I don't mean to be a jerk here, but it is hard to have sympathy for someone who invested $60,000+ in Groupon.
@Tenacious, I totally agree with you. Having said that many people invested in groupon because it had very unique business model and no body knew exactly if it was sustainable model of business or not.
Wouldn't touch it

Many of us saw the issues with Groupons financial when they filed, their expenses are high and their profitability is low in highly competitive field. I don't think they will maintain their price it's just not worth it until they demonstrate a strategic plan to lower expenses and increase profitability. They are now trying to get people to subscribe with a payment for deals. I guess they didn't read that subscription models essentially died five years ago......

Know what's funny about Groupon and really our American education system? Chairman Eric Lefkofsky is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Do you really want this guy -- who is accused of running a fraudulent scheme on shareholders -- teaching your kids about business?

Totally agree.
The lawsuit Groupon is Zhang v. Groupon Inc, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, No. 12-02450, seeks class-action status on behalf of all shareholders who purchased Groupon shares between November 4, 2011 and March 30, 2012. The complaint alleges that Groupon failed to disclose its "poor and inadequate" internal controls and concealed the fact, that it did not comply with the laws of various countries, from its IPO prospectus in November, 2011.
It alleges Groupon executives employed "devices, schemes and artifaces to defraud" investors.

I don't mean to be a jerk here, but it is hard to have sympathy for someone who invested $60,000+ in Groupon. There is something called doing your homework and this investor didn't. I mean, come on! How about something with a track record? he was greedy and he got burned by a greedy company that lied.
