Dog fighting is illegal, human fighting is celerated?

I don't get the logic here. Heineken does not want to be linked with dogfighting, but it like to be linked with human fighting, see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFdBK4gdYcA

You may argue these boxers did not tear the flesh off each other, but we know some boxers did: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6jw7_mike-tyson-ear-bite_sport. In rare, or not so rare case, boxers killed each other in the ring: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6jw7_mike-tyson-ear-bite_sport

We can tolerate the fighting between human being, but not between dog, or bull?

That's a good suggestion. The photos of these animals in the ring -- not just the one that went viral but the others shown on the Mongolian news site -- are just repulsive. Heineken would do well to further distance itself by taking a pro-animal stance.

A tremendous example of damage control on the part of Heineken

Step two should involve large scale donations to animal shelters.

The only thing lower than dog fight participants are the dog fight trainers who do heinous things to prep those poor animals to fight to the death.

Could not agree more with this post, Noreen. Responsible companies pump up their staff in foreign markets with local residents to prevent situations like this. And those local people have to have direct access to higher management to report problematic incidents.

The speed at which an unfavorable event can spread via social media should make every company more cautious, and, at a minimum, have a team in place to address potential issues.
