Thank you for the update. As Noreen mentioned the departure of a CEO can have a great impact on the company's stock. Although they have hired someone to look into the matter I assume a company like this would have had some form of succession planning. I wonder who is in the running.

Excellent report, Rob. A lot of these medium-sized tech companies are really humming along.

I also see some media reports this AM of the 1,000 AKAM acquisition rumor.

Noreen,

Of this group, Citrix was conservative when it offered Q1 guidance in its Q4 report. But it was still a legitimate beat. It helps that Wall Street is raising CTXS price targets: FBR upgraded Citrix to 'outperform' and increased its target to $100 from $80 based on the ramping desktop virtualization cycle, while Citi went to $97 from $88.

Sagan has been a solid CEO at Akamai. I think that's one reason why AKAM shares are retreating today.

Rob,

As you know, Akamai CEO, Paul Sagan will "transition out of his role" at the end of 2013. In a press release, Sagan said he had had an "incredible journey" with Akamai over the course of nearly a decade, and that with Akamai showing "strong growth and business results has "concluded this is the ideal time for the Board to select the company's next leader." Akamai has retained Heidrick & Struggles to lead a CEO search, it said.

Here's my question. Was Sagan a big part of Akamai's success? Will his departure have any significant impact on the company as it moves forward?

Rob,

Did the vast majority of companies telegraph low expectations to analysts so they could get a bump in stock prices by beating the consensus estimates? In other words, are these really solid wins or do they just look good because we expected things to be bad?
