@Kitman points out, "Some people may say MSNBC is finally gaining momentum. Just last week, it pulled ahead of CNN for the first time"

Well, acording to the Huffington Post, that is because MSNBC was down 5% in total viewers while CNN was down 16%. They went on to say, "April was the worst month for CNN in over a decade."

It is somewhat of a bland network, I've always thought of it as NBC 2.0. It would have been nice if they did something truly innovative instead of just re-hashing the standard broadcast news format.

I never understood MSN. Although if you listen to both MSN and Fox, combine everything you hear and then divide it all by half, you come close to finding a little bit of objectivity.
