Solar and oil

The more I think about it, solar and oil mix pretty well. It would be cost prohibitive to get electric lines to some of those remote drill sites and generators are noisy and expensive to operate.

Ask me about North Dakota 10 years ago and I'll tell you one thing: I would not have said major oil producer.

@Noreen--

Works for me!   ...though maybe you're just more nauseous than tired?

@Noreen--

Ipecac?  Isn't that what we were supposed to keep in our medicine cabinets in case our babies drank drain cleaner?

I was tired last night but after a full night of sleep I feel prety good.

I've been taking a homeopathic remedy that contains Arnica Montana (Leopard's Bane) - 30C: Bellis Perennis (Daisy) - 30C: Chamomilla (Wild Cham o mile) - 30C: Ipecacuanha (Ipecac) - 30C: Lycopodium (Clubmoss) - 30C. That, along with a wonderful assortment of coffe and tea (OK, there has been wine, too) seems to have kept everything in balance.

Quite a journey Noreen. And you must be drinking some strong coffee. How's the Jet lag?

Ha! Yes, well, in the past 7 days I've traveled from NYC to London to Paris back to London then to NYC (for 8 hours) before leaving for North Dakota via Minneapolis. And you know what? There must be something wrong with me because I am having a ton of fun.

@Noreen, another evocative, educational post but are you running the IU version of the Amazing Race?

Did you go from North Dakota to Paris or Paris to North Dakota?  Just askin'...
