How do you expect him to understand the plight of those retirees who survive on nothing but Social Security and Medicare today?

He won't.

Guys,

A lot of Conservatives are super-excited and enthusiastic about Romney's VP Pick-Paul Ryan.

Apparently hes gonna turn this Ship (called the American Economy)around and hes gonna make Massive Cuts in the Budget and get us all back working.[Atleast that's the party line].

I am afraid its a massive Publicity Campaign-No more ,No less.

Most interestingly,he would make no major cuts to Militiary Spending. And anyone who knows a thing or two about the US Budget knows that our Militiary Spending has gone totally out of Hand.

Mike Shedlock covers this issue in great details here[Do read].

http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/2011/04/interactive-map-paul-ryan-vs-obama.html

Without touching Militiary spending its just not possible to correct the Budget deficit today(or our Debt Burdens).

More frighteningly he has voted for every single new Spending Increase(including that Monstrosity called Obamacare in last Five years).

But then it brings up a more fundamental fact of American Politics. When was the last time anyone ever won an election;campaigning for an end to entitlements???

Romney just Lost the election.

Man,I miss Ron Paul.Too bad he has retired for Good.

Regards

Ashish.
