While also part of corporate America, Scott has been an investor for several decades. In '81, he took out a large 12% loan from a credit union to deposit into a Merrill Lynch account which earned up to 18% interest! (Anyone remember those rates?). After many years of trying to play Wall Street (including day trading), Scott discovered non-Wall Street investments including real estate (not REITs, but private deals), tax liens, private lending, etc. - all the investments options Wall Street doesn't want us to know about or at least wants us to think are more dangerous or risky than the investments that make them money. Scott now forms partnerships for non-Wall Street investing - most of it focused on cash flow rather than speculation. Anyone who would like to learn about the less-speculative part of the non-Wall Street world can contact Scott at novainvesting@myfastmail.com .
